Fees, Payments & Other Charges

We offer a sliding scale that is available to you if you do not have any benefits to cover the cost of therapy, depending on household income.

To support individuals and families in our community who are living in poverty or have low-income and need therapy, the Centre relies on donations and support from the United Way and private donors.

Please contact us to discuss financial accessibility and your needs.

Receipts that are not submitted for insurance claims may be tax-deductible as a medical expense.

Fees must be paid in full at the beginning of each appointment, including intake/assessment appointments unless alternate third-party payment arrangements have been made in advance.  We accept payment by cash, cheque or e-transfer.

The Centre for Abuse and Trauma Therapy is not a Crisis Centre.

If you are in distress, please contact the 24/7 crisis line at 613-544-4229 or the Sexual Assault Crisis Line at 613-544-6424.  If this is an emergency, please call 911.
